A&R Factory returns with glowing review of Little Angel
Following its earlier review of This Place, independent music publication A&R Factory has turned its attention to Mike Moss's latest single, Little Angel, praising its emotional honesty, heartfelt songwriting and unapologetic sincerity.

Written by Amelia Vandergast, the review draws comparisons to Elbow and Coldplay, highlighting the song's piano-led production, soaring melodies and emotionally expressive vocal performance.
The article explores the inspiration behind Little Angel, written for Mike's two sons. What began as a father's attempt to pass on a little wisdom became a reflection on everything his children had taught him about love, life and the profound ways parenthood can change our perspective.
Vandergast also reflects on Mike's return to music following a period away, recognising the emotional openness of his songwriting and his willingness to embrace sincerity in an increasingly guarded musical landscape.
In one particularly memorable line, she writes:
“Moss seems perfectly content to let his heart make a spectacle of itself.”
Little Angel is the second single from Mike Moss's forthcoming EP, Was It Love?, following This Place, which also received a warmly received review from A&R Factory earlier this year.
